Be it Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governor and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of the
same That no Suit at Law hereafter to be commenced in the Pro-
vincial or County Courts of this Province shall be continued on
Suggestion beyond the Time Limitted by Law unless it shall be made
appear by Affidavit to the Satisfaction of the Court that a Witness
or Testimony material in such Suit is really wanting and that the
Party alledging the same to be wanting or his Attorney or Agent
hath used his reasonable Endeavours for procuring such Witness
or Testimony
This Act to Continue and be in force Three Years and till the
End of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen thereafter
