An Act confirming to Spedding Bromwell of Talbot County certain
Lots of Land therein mentioned

[A Private
Act]

Whereas Spedding Bromwell of Talbot County hath by his Peti-
tion to this present General Assembly set forth That in the Year of
our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty three he Purchased
of and from a certain Jacob Bromwell of the said County two Lots
of Land situate in the Town of Oxford in the County aforesaid
commonly known and distinguished by the Numbers forty eight
and forty nine in the Plott of the said Town and had actually paid
the Purchase Money for the same and that before he could get a
legal Conveyance executed for the same the said Jacob Bromwell
was unfortunately drowned and left Issue an Infant Son his Heir
at Law and humbly prayed that the same Purchase might be con-
firmed to him: And the Truth of the said Allegations being made
appear to this General Assembly

Be it therefore Enacted by and with the Advice and Consent of
his Lordship's Governor and the upper and lower Houses of As-
sembly and the Authority of the same That the same Estate Right
Title Interest Property and Claim which the said Jacob Bromwell in
his Lifetime had of in and to the aforesaid two Lots of Land and
each of them and all and every their Rights and Appurtenances be
and hereby is vested and settled in the said Spedding Bromwell his
Heirs and Assigns for ever as fully and absolutely as if the same
had been by the said Jacob Bromwell in his Life time legally and
actually conveyed to the said Spedding in Fee Simple
