Which is read the first and second time by especial order, approved
of, and ordered to be ingross'd M.r Hall brings in, and delivers to
M.r Speaker, the ingross'd message, which is read and assented to,
and sent to the upper house by M.r Dickinson, and M.r Mackall
John Beall Bordley esquire, from the upper house delivers to M.r
speaker the paper bills, entitled an additional supplementary act to
the act entitled, an act for the establishment of religious worship
in this province according to the church of England, and for the
maintenance of ministers. An act for the relief of the poor within
the several counties therein mentioned; severally indorsed: By the
upper house of assembly June 22.d 1768. The ingross'd bill, whereof
this is the original, read and assented to

Also a bill, entitled an act to promote, and forward the appeal now
depending before his Majesty in council, on behalf of the people
of this province; indorsed: "By the upper house of assembly June

And the bill entitled an act for raising four pence sterling on every
hogshead of tobacco, exported out of this province, for the support

M.r Johnson brings in, and delivers to M.r Speaker, the ingross'd
address to his excellency, which is read, and assented to, and sign'd
by order of the house, by the honorable Speaker.

Ordered, that M.r Steele and M.r Key, do wait on his excellency,
and acquaint him, that this house hath prepared an address to be pre-
sented to him; and desires to know when and where he will be pleased
to receive it. They return and acquaint M.r Speaker, his excellency
signified he would receive the address immediately, in the conference
chamber. Ordered that M.r Johnson and three more do present
the address.
M.r Johnson brings in, and delivers to M.r Speaker the following
