M.r Ringgold brings in and delivers to M.r speaker a bill entituled
a supplementary act to the act entitled an act for creating a new
parish in Kent County called Chester parish and for building a
parish church, and enlarging a chapel of ease in the said parish:
Which is read the first time and ordered to lie on the table.

Benedict Calvert esquire from the upper house delivers to M.r
speaker the petition of Rachel, Elizabeth and Mary Bacon; indorsed:
"June 7.th 1768: Read and referred to the consideration of the
lower house of assembly.

Which is read, and ordered to lie on the table.
The petition of Thomas Jennings read a second time and granted.
Leave given to bring in a bill according to prayer

The petition of the reverend M.r Macpherson read a second time.
Ordered that M.r Hanson, M.r Ware, M.r Smallwood, M.r Har-
rison and M.r Hall, be a committee to state the facts arising on
said petition, and report the same.
