will Pass with the following Amendments. In the seventh line from
the top of the second Page Strike out the Words "a long square"
and insert in place thereof the Words "Part of"
After the Word "Chapel" in the Ninth line from the top of the
third Page insert the Words Viz.t "or to sue for and recover such
Monies in Case any of the Subscribers should Neglect or refuse to
pay the Sums Subscribed by them respectively"
in the seventh line of the fourth Page from the top Strike out
the Word "Generously" and insert the Word "Piously"
Read the second time the Bill Entitled An Act appointing new
Visitors for the Public School in Frederick County and for other
purposes therein mentioned, and will Pass, so Endorsed, These two
Bills sent by John Beale Bordley Esq,,r
Read the second time, in this House, the Bill Entitled An Act
for the better Regulating the Office of Sheriff, and further Ad-
vancement of Justice within this Province, and will not Pass. Sent
by Daniel Dulany Esq,,r
Mess,,rs Thomas and Bordley bring up the two following En-
grossed Bills. Read and assented to by the Lower House of As-
sembly
A Bill Entitled An Act for the Preservation of the Breed of Fish.
A Bill Entitled An Act to prevent any Obstruction of the Navi-
gation of the River Potowmack.
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon
