An Act for the Relief of insolvent Debtors: Which Bills were
severally read the first Time, and Ordered to lye on the Table.

The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock

Tuesday, November 25.
The House met.

All appeared as Yesterday, except S. Chase, Esq Col. Hammond,
from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker, a Petition of Adam
Wychal, in Frederick County Goal ; Indorsed "By the Upper House
of Assembly: Read and referred to the Consideration of the Lower
House:" Which Petition was read the first and second Time, and
granted.

Richard Lee, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker
a Petition of Joshua Rogers, and Robert Pitt: Severally indorsed:
"By the Upper House of Assembly: Read and referred to the Con-
sideration of the Lower House:" Which Petition was read here,
and ordered to lye on the Table

The House adjourns till 2 of the Clock

Post Meridiem.
The House met.

The Petitions of many languishing Prisoners in several Goals in
this Province, were read the second Time and granted.

On Motion, Leave is given to bring in a Bill for the Relief of
Prisoners for Debt, in several County Goals in this Province

Ordered, That T. Ringgold, T. Johnson, Esq.rs and M.r Allen,
do prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly

The Bill, entitled, An Act to ease the Inhabitants of this Province
and to impower the Justices of several Counties to bind out the
Persons therein mentioned Apprentices; was read the second Time
and will pass.
The Bill, entitled, An Act for the Security of Purchasers and
others, being Protestants, claiming by or from Aliens; was read
the second Time, and passed; Both Bills were sent to the Upper
House, by M.r Earle and Mr Harris.

Nov. 25

The Bill, entitled, An Act to aid defective Common Recoveries
Was read the second Time, and will pass, and was sent to the Upper
House by M.r Selby, and M.r Jacob.
The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock
