Read and referred the Petitions of Joseph Lowman and Samuel
Cresswell of Baltimore County Sent by Daniel Dulany Esq.r
Mess.rs Lee and Deye attend with M.r Hall a Member for Balti-
more County, to see him Qualified, who takes and subscribes the
Oath of Abjuration directed to be taken by the late Act of Parlia-
ment, and then withdraws
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Worcester County, to see him Qualified, who takes and Subscribes

By the Lower House of Assembly 19.th Nov.r 1766.

May it please your Honours
This House, sensibly affected with the distressed Circumstances
of the Province, and the extream Necessity of many of the Creditors
of the Public, occasioned, in great Measure, by the want of a Circu-
lating Medium of Commerce, and by the Non-payment of the Public
Debt, think it the most probable means to bring about a Passage
of the Journal, that there should be a Conference between the two
Houses, which it is hoped, will not only effect that good purpose, and
