Memorandü That full possession of the within mentioned premises Liber F
was given by the within named John Hackister unto the within
named John Boswell the day & yeare within written in presence of
Thomas Corker
Thomas Lomax & Hugh Thomas desires that this Ensueinge
writeing to be Recorded
Wee whose names are underwritten at the speciall instance &
request of Hugh Thomas & Thomas Lomax Did goe & see a division
of a tract of Land Lyeinge scituate & being above the head of
Wiccomico River in Charles County in the Province of Maryland
belonging unto them, made by Mr Richard Edelen Deputy Surveyr, &
allsoe according to Lott the south end of the sd land with a plan-
tation thereon Erected did fall unto the aforesd Hugh Thomas & the
north end according to Division unto the aforesd Thomas Lomax,
with this allowance followeinge unto the sd Lomax in Consideracon
of the Plantation (to say) the sd Hugh Thomas shall pay & allow
the sd Thomas Lomax seaventeene hundred pounds of good tobaccoe
in Caske upon Demand & seaventeene hundred pounds more at or
before the tenth day of October next ensueinge the date hereof,
as allsoe the sd Lomax to have the use & benefitt of halfe the plan-
tation aforesd & halfe the houses thereon now erected untill the
last day of October which shall be in the yeare of our Ld 1674,
And whereas there is two parcells of Land leased out of the whole
tract aforesd (to say) one parcell unto Meverell Hulse in Hugh
Thomas his Lott & on parcell unto John Posie in Thomas Lomax
his lott, the parties in whose lott each parcell falls is to pay his
rent to the same & become his tenant, And wee doe hereby declare
tht the aforesd Hugh Thomas & Thomas Lomax was & is Contented
& satisfied with the aforesd Division & upon the tearmes aforesd, In
wittnesse whereof wee have hereunto sett our hand the 25th day

This Indenture made the eighth day of November in the yeare of
our Lord one thousand six hundred seaventy & foure Betweene
Richard Becke of Charles County in the Province of Maryland
planter of the one parte & Robert Ware of the County & Province
aforesd Merchant of the other part Wittnesseth, that the said Rich-
ard Becke as well for & in Consideracon of a certaine sume of to-
baccoe to him in hand paid by the sd Robert Ware wherewith the
