484 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—16 74.
           Liber E   Humphry Jones entreth this ensueing discharge
                     To all Christian People to whome these prsents Shall come, I George
                Banks of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Send greet-
                ing know yee that I the sd George Banks for good causes and
                valueab!e consideracons him thereunto moveing have remised released
                and ever quitt clamed and by these prsents for himselfe his heyres
                Executors and Admrs or assignes doth fully absolutely & clearly
                remise release and for ever quitt claime unto Humphry Jones of the
                County & Province aforesd in his full possession and Seizen and to
                his heyres Executors Admrs or assignes forever all Such Right Title
                & Intrest & demand wtsoever as he the sd George Banks had or ought
                to have of in or to all & every the messuage Tenemt or one hundred
                acres of Land in the County aforesd or of or into all and every
                part & parcell thereof by force and virtue of any Indenture or other
                assureance thereof acknowledged or made by the sd Humphry
                Jones to me the sd George Banks by any other wayes or meanes To
                have and to hold all the sd Messuage or Tenemt unto the sd Humphry
                Jones his heyres or assignes & to the onely use & behoof of the sd
                Humphry Jones his heyres Executors and Admrs forever Soe that
                neither the sd George Banks nor his heyres Executors Admrs or
                assignes nor any pson or psons for him or them or in his or theyre
                names or in the name right or Stead of any of them, Shall or will by
                any way or meanes hereafter have claime challenge or demand any
                estate right Title or Intrest of in or to the prmisses or any part
                or parcell thereof, but from all & every accofl Right Estate Title
                Intrest or demand of in or to the prmisses or any part or parcell
                thereof they & every of them Shall be utterly excluded and barrd
                forever by these prsents & allso the sd George Banks & his heyres
                Executors Admrs the sd messuage Tenemt Lands & other the prmisses
                 the appurtenances to the sd Humphry Jones his heyres Executors
                Admrs & assignes to his or theyre pp use and uses in manner &
                forme aforespecefied agt theyre heyres Executors Admrs & assignes
                & every of them Shall warrt & forever defend by these prsents in
                witness whereof I have interchangeably put my hand and Seale this
