470 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674.

         Liber E    in the pattent of the said land and the sd Edmond lynsey For himselfe
               his heyres Executors and Administratours The said land and Singuler
               Other the Premises before granted bargained and sould wth the ap-
               purtenances unto the sd William Gardner his heyres and Assignes to
               the onely Proper use and behoofe of him the sd wm Gardener his
               heirs and Assignes for ever agst him the sd Edmond Lyndsey his
               heyres or Assignes and agst All and Every Other Person and person
               whoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by theis presents
               And the said Edmond Linsey for himsel fe his heyres Execeurs and
               Administratours doth covenant and Grante To and with the said
               Wm Gardner his heyrs and Assignes, tht he the Wm Gardner his
               heyres and Assignes shall be well and sufficiently from time to time
               and att A!! times hereafter saved and kepte harmelesse by the said
               Edmond Lyndsey his heyres Executrs and Administratours of and
               from all manner of Former Grantes bargaines leases Joyntures
               Dowers titles of Dowers Rentes Arrearages of Rente Forfeitures
               fines and of and From other Titles troubles demandes or other In-
               cumberances wtsoever had done made Comitted or suffered to be had
               or Committed by any Person or Persons wthoever touching Or con-
               cerning the Premises and further the said Edmonde Lyndsey for
               himselfe his heyres Executors and Administratrs Shall and will from
               time to time and att all times hereafter For and dureing the space
               of Seaven years next Enseweing the date of theis presents att and
               upon the reasonable request and att the Cost and Charges in the law
               of him the Will: Gardner his heyrs and Assignes niake doe per-
               form Acknowledge or cause to be made done performed and
               Acknowledged all and Every such further lawfull and reasonable

               and Assurances and other Conveyances in the Law wtsoever for the
               further better and more perfect Assurance and more sure makeing
               of all and Singuler the before Granted premises wth their and Every

                 Thomas Wharton Acknowledgeth ths Inseweing Conveyance of

               other parte Witnesseth that the said Thomas Wharton as well for
