And as in Duty he Shall ever pray &c.
The receipt of Alex: Sennet [fol. 71]
Received by me Allexander Sennet for the use of George Manwer-
ing three hundred and nine pounds of beefe and poarke witness my
hand this last of Decembr 1670 Alex Sennet
Test Nich Salsby
Whereupon the Comishoners granted him the said Magloughlyn
an order for the sd Sume
The humble Peticon of Allexander Sennet humbly Sheweth
That Mr Geo: Manwering of this County deceased was at his
death indebted unto your Peticoner upon accompt in the Sume of
fifeteene hundred and Some odd pounds of tobacco wch accompt is
Sett downe by the sd Manwering under his owne hand in his booke
of accompts now in the possession of the Administratrs or overseers
of the said Manwerings Estate vizt Mr Henry Adams Mr Thomas
Mathewes He humbly therefore prayeth that this worshipp full Court
will grant him order tht the aforesd Adminrs or Overseers pay your
Peticoner the tob by him demanded (according to the accompting
booke) out of the sd Estate and as in Duty bound he shall ever pray &c.
The Certificat of Mr Henry Warren directed to the Comishonrs
These are to certefie tht Mr Geo: Manwering upon his death bead
did acknowledge that he owed and was indebted unto Allexander
Sennet his thn overseer in the sume of fifeteene hundred Seventy
Six pounds of tobacco the wch debt does aliso appeare by his owne
booke as this I know to be true witnes my hand this 9th of March
1671/2 Hen: Warren
Whereupon the Worshipfull Comishoners gave him order for his
tobacco.
Mr Thomas Pope appeareing in Court, Peticoned the Worshippfull
Comishonrs tht he giveing good Securety, he might possess the estate
of Richard Smith wch estate was formerly in the possession of Fran-
cis Pope the Father of the said Thomas, whereupon the Comishoners
granted him his request
The Court is adjorned till the Second tuesday in September,
Henry Moore demands a writt agt Peter Reyneare in a plea of
trespas on the case warrt to the Sheriff returnable the second tuesday
in September
