       And for the proofe of this his declaracon he produced this En- Liber E
     sueing Evidence.
       Edmond Lendsey aged Sixty foure yeares or thereabouts Sworne
     Saith That Sometime in Aprill Anno Domini 1668 Dan: Johnson
     upon the Calving of Two Cowes by him dellivered to Jeremy Cane-
     dagh the Sd Jeremy told him tht they had brought bull Calves wth
     Daniel Johnson ordered him the Sd Edmond to marke of his the
     Said Daniels marke & Cutt them & he would give Jeremy Canedagh
     two Cow Calves of the Same age in the roome of them & further
     Saith not.
       whereupon the Court gave Judgemt agt the Defts for two Cow
     Calves which were Calved Sometime in march or Aprill Last with
     Costs &c

       In a Certain matter of Difference depending between George
     Godfrey plt & Francis Kilborne & Eliza his wife Admrx of the Goods
     & Chatteils of Dan: Johnson Deed Defts
       The plt preferreth this Ensueing declaracon to be read in open
     Court as foll:
       And whereupon the Sd plt Complaineth agst the defts for that
     whereas he the Said George did Sometime about the first day of
     May in the 38th yeare of the Dominion of Caecilius &c Annoq
     Domini 1669, & att divers days & times Since till the last day of
     June in the Same yeare at the Speciall instance & request of Daniel
     Johnson doe Severall parcells of building & other worke amounting
     to the Sume of one thousand Six hundred pounds of Tobaccoe as by
     a particular accot here in Court produced more plainly may appeare
     In Consideration whereof the Said Daniel did then assume & to the
     Said George did faithfully promise that he the Said Daniel the Sd
     Sume of 1500 lb tobaccoe when thereunto required would well &
     truly Satisfy & pay Yet nevertheles the Said Daniel in his lifetime
     nor the Sd Francis & Eliza his wife Since his death the Said Sume
     of 1500 lb tobaccoe although often thereunto required have not
     Satisfyed but do altogethr refuse to pay the Same whereupon the Sd
     plt Saith he is damnifyed & hath loss to the vallew of 2400 of
     tobaccoe & thereupon he bringeth his Suite
       Likewise the plt produced this Ensueing accot

        To Building a Sixty foot tobaccoe house   1200
        To Building a ten foot hen house 0200
        To getting the frame of a forty foot tobaccoe house. 0100

       Robert Philips aged 30 yeares or thereabouts Sworne Saith That
