delliver a bill of Sale to the Said Daniel when thereunto required hath Liber E
not dellivered any bill of Sale to the Said Daniel but doth altogether
refuse the same wherefore yor peticoner being Damnified to the
vailew of 1200 pounds of Tobaccoe Humbly craves your worships
would be pleased to grant Judgement of Court to the Said plt agt
the Deft wth Costs of Suite &c And yor Petr shall pray
whereupon the Defendant craved a reference till next Court which
was granted Him.
John Mould Came & appeared to prosecute his Suite Comenced agt
Francis Fernley who likewise appeared to answer the Said Suite.
Whereupon the plt not being provided with any written declaracon
was by the Court permitted to declare by word of mouth which was
to the Effect as folioweth.
for that whereas the Deft had by false alligacons to Severall
neighbours Slandered the Said plt advising his Said neighbours to
be wary of him & insinuating the Sd Plt to Steale hogges whereby
the Said plt was much defamed & his creditt Impaired for the which
he humbly craveth this worshipfull Court will grant him reparacon
agt the deft with Costs of Suite &c
And to prove this his declaracon he desired the Deposition here
following might be taken.
Anne Morris wife to Richard Morris of Charles County being
Subpad & Sworne saith
That Francis fernley advised Richard Morris to marke his hogges
for John Mould was often abroad to hunt wild hogges & further Sth
not.
whereupon the Court not finding any cause of accon ordered that
the plt should be nonsuite & pay Costs of Suite &c.
whereupon the plt preferred this Ensueing bill of Costs by Rich
Boughton his Atturney which was granted.

A Reference granted in the Difference Depending between John
Charman & Robt Downes till the next Court.
Ordered that nicho: Emanson & Eliza: his wife give Bond to the
Sheriff to prosecute Edmond Lambert for Hog stealing & that the
Said Lambert give Security for his appearance at the next prom
Court or rema in the Sheriffes Custody.
Attachment of Henry Barnes agt the Tobaccoe of George Harris
in the hands of owen Jones & George Hinson Continued till the next
Court.
