Mess.rs Edmonson and Wilson bring up the Paper Bills of a
Supplementary Act to the Act entitled an Act for the Limitation of

certain Actions for avoiding Suits at Law. thus endorsed
By the Lower House of Assembly 7 Dec..r 1765
The engrossed Bill whereof this is the Original Read and as-
sented to

And also the following engrossed Bills Read & assented to in the
Lower House Viz.t
An Act to establish a Road from Hunting Creek in Dorchester
to Dover in Talbot County.
An Act to vest the Title of and in certain Lands in John Ham-
mond Esq.r for other Purposes therein mentioned.

The Paper Bills sent by Benedict Calvert Esquire.
A Bill by Messrs Hynson & Buchanan entitled an Act to enable
the Visitors of Kent County School for the Time being to lease out
part of the Land belonging to sd school
Read the first and second Time in the Lower House and will pass.
Read the first and second Time by especial Order in this House &
will pass so endorsed and sent by Benedict Calvert Esquire.

A Message by Mess.rs Hammond and Ringgold
By The Lower House of Assembly 7 Dec.r 1765
May it please your Honours.
This House hath agreed to make all the Allowances mentioned
in your Message of the 5.th Ins.t by Daniel Dulany Esquire, except
those of 81,600lb & 8,800lb of Tobacco to the late and present Clerk
of the Council. As it does not appear to this House, for what Services
rendered to the Public these Sums are required to be paid we do not
think we could be justified to our Constituents in making such
Allowances; If those Gentlemen will lay before us a particular
Account of their Charges for Services performed by Virtue of the
Laws of this Province, and for which they ought to be paid by a
Tax on the People, we will readily insert in the Journal what shall
