We the Subscribers, being appointed a Committee by this Hon-
ourable House to examine the Proceedings of the Council, and to
compare the Charges in the Clerk of the Council's Account, pre-

sented in Pursuance of the Order of this Honourable House, with
the said Proceedings, and to report to the said House what should
appear to them in their Enquiry & Examination, do report to this
Honourable House, that they have carefully examined the said Pro-
ceedings, & compared therewith the Charges contained in the s.d
Clerks Accounts, and that it appears to them, that the actual Service
done by the said Clerk, from the 10.th of May 1756 in Copying and
recording the Proceedings of the s.d Council, or Matters of a public
Nature relative to the executive Powers of this Government charging
Nine Pounds of Tobacco p Side containing One Hundred & five
Words, amounts to a sum considerably exceeding the Quantity of
Tobacco mentioned in the Clerks Account, exclusive of all Charges
for Attendance preceeding the Meetings of Council, the summoning
of the Members, keeping Officers Bonds, County Levies &c &c all
which is humbly Submitted to this Honourable House.

On Motion made by Daniel Dulany Esquire, Leave given to bring
in a Bill to aid an Act for Limitation of certain Action for avoiding
Suits at Law.
