of the several British Colonies on this Continent at the City of
New York on the first Tuesday of October next to Consult together
on the present Circumstances of the Colonies and the Difficulties to
which they are and must be reduced by the Operation of the late
Acts of Parliament for levying Duties and Taxes on the Colonies
and to consider of a General and united dutifull and humble Repre-
sentation of their Condition to his Majesty and the Parliament and
to Implore relief to be by them Applied in and towards the Expences
Attendant thereon and that they lay an Account of their Disburse-
ments before the General Assembly of this Province as soon as con-
veniently may be And that the Ballance if any be by them returned
into the hands of the Treasurer and if any Expence should be in-
curred in the Execution of the above Measure exceeding the five
hundred pounds That upon its propriety Appearing a future Pro-
vision shall be made in the first Application of Public Money

We Agree to the Ordinance proposed if made Agreeable to our
last Message by inserting the following Words Viz:t "thereof to-
gether with the proceedings they shall Join in with the Committees
of the other Colonies" between the Word Disbursement and the
Word before in the 8.th Line and by leaving out what follows after
Treasurer in the 9.th Line
