The following Ingrossed Address Viz
To his Excellency Horatio Sharpe Esq.r Governor and Commander
in Chief in and over the Province of Maryland

The Humble Address of the House of Delegates
May it please your Excellency
It is with Concern we find Ourselves under the disagreeable Neces-
sity of informing your Excellency that the Treasurers have been so
very remiss in their Duty that they have not laid their Accounts
before us either in the last or present Session of Assembly tho' it is
notorious they have large Sums of Money in their Hands belonging
to the Public which were raised by Acts that require an Account
thereof to be laid before the General Assembly every Session

We therefore request your Excellency to Order the Bonds of
those Officers to be put in Suit for these Neglects that those who
enjoy the Profits may see a Necessity of complying with the Duties
of Offices
Was read and assented to and signed by Order of the House by
the Hon.ble Speaker
Ord.d that M.r Parran and M.r Chase do acquaint his Excellency
that this House hath prepared an Address to be presented to him
and desires to know when and where he will please to receive it.
They return and acquaint Mr Speaker that the Gov.r signified he
would receive the Address imediately in the Conference Chamber
Ord.d that M.r Parran and three more do present the Address to
the Governor
Benedict Calvert Esq.r from the Upper House delivers to Mr
Speaker the Paper Bill Entitled An Act to enable the Commiss.rs
of the Loan Office to purchase Stationary Ware for the Use of the
Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly Ind.d "By the Upper House
of Assembly Dec.r 20.th 1765 The Ingrossed Bill whereof this is the
Original is read and assented to
Signed by Order UScott Cl. Up. Ho.

Ord.d that Edmund Key Esqr and Mr Lee do acquaint his Ex-
cellency the Governor that no Public Business lies before this House
to transact
Benedict Calvert and Daniel Dulany Esq.rs from the Up. Ho.
acquaint Mr Speaker the Gov.r requires the Attendance of the Mem-
bers of the Lo: Ho: immediately in the Upper House
Mr Speaker left the Chair and (with the other Members of the
Lower House) went to the Up:r House and there presented to the
Gov.r the following Ingrossed Bills Viz
38 An Act for limiting the Time for sinking the Paper Bills of
Credit now Current in this Province and other Purposes therein
