certain Lands in John Hammond and for other purposes therein
mentioned And the Paper Bill Entitled an Act to establish a Road
from Hunting Creek in Dorchester to Dover in Talbot County
severally Indorsed By the Upper House of Assembly 7.th Dec.r 1765
the Ingrossed Bill whereof this is the Original is read and assented to.
And the Bill Intitled an Act to enable the Visitors of Kent County
School for the Time being to lease out Part of the Land belonging
to the said School Indorsed By the Upper House of Assembly 7.th
Dec.r 1765
Read the first and second Time by especial Order and will pass
which Bill was read here and passed for Ingrossing
On Motion of Samuel Chase Esq.r Leave is given to bring in a
Bill for the Encouragement of Jonas Green of the City of Annapolis

Col.o Hooper from the Upper House delivers to Mr Speaker the
Bill Intitled an Act for the Security of purchasers and others being
Protestants claiming by or from Aliens Indorsed By the Upper
House of Assembly 7.th Dec.r 1765 Read the second Time and will
pass with the following Amendments Viz
Leave out the Words "being Protestants" in the Title also the
Words "being Protestants in the 7.th & 8.th Lines and in the 12.th
Line Also the Words "a Protestant or Protestants" and in the 17.th
and in the 19.th and 20th Line also the Words "Papist or Papists or"
in the 19.th and 20.th and in the 22d 23d and 24.th Line
