be possessed Your own Knowledge of American Affairs and the
Abilities of the Council you may think proper to retain will it is
hoped furnish Lights and Arguments sufficient to evince the Rights
of British American Subjects the true Interest of the Mother
Country and the certain Destruction of her Colonies unless those
grievous and as we apprehend the constitutional Statutes should be
repealed

Benedict Calvert Esq.r from the Upper House delivers to Mr
Speaker a petition of sundry the Inhitants of S.t Johns and S.t Lukes
Parishes in Queen Anns County and S.t Pauls parish part of which
lies in Talbot County Indorsed By the Upper House of Assembly
referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly
Which Petition was read the first Time and upon reading a
second Time the said petition and on Motion of Col.o Tilghman
Leave is given to bring in a Bill for laying out a new and settling
and ascertaining the future Bounds and Limits of St Lukes Christ
Church and S.t Johns Parishes in Queen Anns County and S.t Pauls
parish being partly in Queen Anns and partly in Talbot County
Ordered that Col.o Tilghman James Hollyday Esq.r and M.r
Wright do prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly
The House adjourns 'till 2 of the Clock

Henry Hollyday Esq.r appeared in the House
M.r John Hall brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill Entituled
an Act to confirm a Lease made by Thomas Harrison of Baltimore
County for Part of a Lot of Land therein mentioned lying in Balti-
more Town in said County to the Commiss.rs of the said Town and
their Successors and to establish a Market in the said Town and for
the Regulation of the said Market which Bill was read the first
Time and Ordered to lye on the Table
Mr Bealle brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill Entituled an
Act to encrease the Allowance of Jurors attending the provincial
and County Courts and for other purposes therein mentioned which
was read the first Time and Ordered to lye on the Table
The Bill Entituled an Act to enable the Visitors of Kent County
School for the Time being to Lease out part of the Land belonging
