15 Pieces of Cannon fixed on a Wooden Frame (which is much
decayed and Shatter'd) wanting Aprons and Tomkins and many of
them without Cramps which render them unfit for Service & ever
dangerous to fire The several pieces of Old Cannon mentioned in
former Reports to have lain on the point are none of them there now
Your Committee find that since the last Reports of the State of
the Arms and Ammunition there have been received into the Maga-
zine Seventy two half Barrels Gunpowder which was received into
the powder House before the present Armourer took Charge of the
Arms and Ammunition who has no Accounts, relating thereto he
informing your Committee that there have been two Barrels replaced
in the Magazine by Thomas Richardson and Company in Lieu of
two Barrels delivered him by Order of the Governor by whose Orders
the following Quanties (as mentioned in a Report to the Honourable
House October 24.th 1763) were delivered out of the Magazine and
Stores a Return of which has never been made Viz
1762 Nov.r 10.th Delivered to Mr Smith Merchant in Chester
Town 2 Barrels powder Marked FLB
1763 June 5.th Delivered to Basil Croser 2 Barrels Gunpowder to
be delivered to Col.o Thomas Prather or his Order at the Mouth of
Conococheague
