An Ordinance for applying the Sum of £500 Current Money to
the purposes therein mentioned.
It is Ordained, by his Excellency and the Upper and Lower Houses
of Assembly that the Sum of £500 Current Money be paid by the
Treasurer of the Western Shore into the hands of William Murdock
Edw.d Tilghman and Tho.s Ringgold Esq.rs a Committee appointed
by the Lower House of Assembly to meet the Committees from the
Houses of Representatives or Burgesses of the several British Col-
onies on this Continent at the City of New York on the first Tuesday
of October next to consult together on the present Circumstances of
