pointed by the several County Courts under any Law now in Force
Nor Remedy whereof for the Future

14 years of
age, choose
guardians, if
under,
courts to
appoint; to
take into
their hands
their Real
Estates, &c.]

Be it enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governor and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of
the same That it shall and may be Lawfull for the Justices of the
several County Courts and they are hereby Authorized and required
on Application to them made to permitt such Orphans if above the
Age of fourteen Years to chuse his or her Guardian and if under the
Age of Fourteen the said Justices to Appoint a Guardian and Im-
mediately Order the said Orphans Real Estate into the Hands of such
Guardian in the same manner as they might or cou'd have done
had the Ballance of said Estate been Transmitted from the Com-
missarys Office and such Guardian so as aforesaid Chosen or Ap-
pointed by this Act shall have the same Powers and be Subject to
the same duties and Regulations as Guardians Otherwise Chosen
or Appointed are by the Laws of this Province now in force and
when the Ballance of the Personal Estate is transmitted (which is
hereby declared to be his Duty to see done as soon as the Particulars
Circumstances of the Deceaseds Estate will Admitt) shall receive
the same as if then Chosen or Appointed Any Law Usage or Custom
to the Contrary in any wise Notwithstanding

An Act to Confirm the Sale of certain Land lying in Eastern Neck
Island in Kent County by Draper Lusby and Frances his Wife
Executrix of John Hynson Deceased to Matthew Bryan
Whereas the said Draper Lusby and Frances his Wife and
Matthew Bryan by their Petition to this General Assembly have
set forth That the aforesaid John Hynson by his last Will and
Testament did Will direct and Impower his said Executrix to sell
at Publick Sale to the highest bidder and convey within three
Months at most after his Discease a Certain Part of his Land lying
in Eastern Neck Island described in his said Will as follows All that
part of my Land in Eastern Neck Island that lies to the Eastward
of a line drawn to the Southward from a bounded red Oak that
stands near the main Road between the Fresh Pond and the Head
of Calf Pasture Creek and near where Samuel Mungar now lives
to a bounded Post at the head of a Gut issuing out of Chester
River and which is a Division between my Brother Charles and
