Men and Church Wardens of St Stephens Parish in Cecil County
and every Act and thing by them done since the said Easter Monday
in the Year Seventeen hundred and Sixty as a Vestry of the Parish
af.d be and are hereby made as good and Valid to all intents and
Purpose as if Election of new Vestry men and Church Wardens for
the Parish af.d had been Actually made on the said Easter Monday
in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty the said
Omission Notwithstanding

An Act to empower John Paca Robert Adair Moses Hill and
Margaret his Wife to sell and dispose of the Lands therein men-
tioned late the Lands of William Hammond of Baltimore
County deceased for the Payment of the Debts of the said William
Hammond
Whereas John Paca Robert Adair Gentlemen and Margaret Paca
(now Margaret Hill) Executors of the Testament and last Will of
John Paca Junior late of Baltimore County deceased by their Humble
Petition to this General Assembly have set forth. That the afore-
said John Paca Junior on the twelfth day of March Seventeen hun-
dred and forty Six at the instance of Colonel William Hammond
late of Baltimore County deceased became Security in a Bond for
the said William Hammond in Baltimore County Court to one
Richard Moale then an Infant the Orphan of John Moale deceased
in the Penalty of one hundred and thirty two Pounds thirteen shil-
lings and five pence Sterling and nine hundred and fifty eight Pounds
two shillings and nine Pence Currency Conditional for the Payment
of eighty one Pounds six shillings and Eight pence half penny Ster-
ling and four hundred and seventy nine Pounds one shilling and
four pence half penny Currency part of the said Richard Moales
filial Portion of his said Fathers Estate That the said William
Hammond on the twentieth day of Decembr Seventeen hundred
and fifty one by Indenture of Bargain and Sale duly Acknowledged
and Recorded in Baltimore County records for the Consideration
of eighty four Pounds eighteen shillings and five Pence Sterling
and Sixty three Pounds seven shillings Current Money did Bargain
and Sell to Alexander Lawson of Baltimore County Merchant in
ffee two Lotts of Land lying in Baltimore Town and known by the
names of Number one and Number Five the lott Number one being
the lott whereon the Dwelling House of the said William Hammond
