Was Sent to the Upper house by M.r Ringgold & M.r H. Hall

On Motion made by Mr Ringgold, that a Message be prepared, in
Answer to the Message of the 24.th Instant, brought from the Upper
house by J. Ridout Esq.r
Ordered that Mr Ringgold Col.o Tilghman Mr Murdock Mr John-
son Mr Hammond & Mr J. Hall, do prepare and bring in the Same.

On Motion Of Col.o Tilghman, leave given to bring in a Bill for
the Regulation of Ordinarys within this Province

Ordered that Col.o Tilghman, M.r Ringgold Mr Sulivane, & Mr
Hanson, do prepare & bring in a Bill accordingly

On Motion of Mr Key, the question was put, that leave be given to
bring in a Bill for the Support of fifty Men, for the protection of
the ffrontier Inhabitants of this Province, and for the payment of
the Said Men out of the Overplus of the ffunds of the £40,000 Act
Resolved in the Negative

The house Adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9, of the Clock

Nov. 26

Saturday Morning 26.th Nov.r 1763

The house met according to Adjournment, the Members were
Called and all appeared as yesterday except Mr Thomas, the pro-
ceedings were Read.

Mr Hanson brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill Ent.d An
Act for the better Regulation of Ordinarys and Ordinary Keepers
within this Province which was Read the first and Second time by
an especial Order & will pass.
