By the Lower House of Assembly 2d November 1763

Nov. 2

Resolved that on all Bills drawn on Petition to be presented to
this House containing Matters of Fact Necessary to be Proved in
Order to obtain the End prayed for by the said Petition, the Proof
Necessary to Make the said Facts appear Shall be ready to be pro-
duced to this House on the Second reading of the Bill drawn for
that Purpose
Read the Second time the Bill Entituled An Act to impower John
Paca, Robert Adair, Moses Hill, and Margaret his Wife, to sell &
dispose of the Lands therein mentioned, late the Land of William
Hammond of Baltimore County deceased, for the Payment of the
Debts of the said William Hammond.
Passed and Sent by Richard Lee Esq.r
Read the Second time the Bill Ent.d An Act to Confirm the Sale
of certain Land lying in Eastern Neck Island in Kent County by
Draper Lusby and Frances his Wife Execx of John Hynson de-
ceased to Matthew Bryan and will pass with the following Amend-
ments after the Word Island in the fifth Line Leave out these
Words as in his said Will is described" and insert the following
discribed in his said Will as follows all that Part of my Land in
Eastern Neck Island that lies to the Eastward of a Line drawn to
the Southward from abounded Red Oak that Stands near the main
Road between the fresh Pond and the Calf Pasture Creek and near
where Samuel Munjar now lives to abounded Post at the head of a
gutt issuing out of Chester River and which is a division between my
Brother Charles and my Self and also of a Line drawn Northerly
from the said Oak to the head of the gutt of Calf Pasture Creek
and also to the Eastward of the said Creek and sent by John Ridout
Esq.r

cellency the Address of this House in the Words following
To His Excellency Horatio Sharpe Esq.r Governor and Commander
in Chief in and over the Province of Maryland
The humble Address of the Upper House of Assembly
