Present as Yesterday
Mess.rs Thomas & Wilkinson attend with Mr Hollyday Elected
Members for Queen Anns County to see him qualified who takes
the Oaths to the Government appointed to be taken by Act of
Assembly repeats & Subscribes the Abjuration & Test & then with-
draw
Read the Second time the first five of the aforegoing Bills prepared
in this House passed & Sent by Sam.l Chamberlaine Esq.r
Read the Second time the Seven foregoing Bills prepared in this
House passed & Sent by John Ridout Esq.r
Adjourned till 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Present as in the Morning
Read the Petition of the Minister Vestrymen and Church wardens
and Principal Inhabitants of S.t Peters Parish in Talbot County
praying a Bill may be brought in to raise 500 Pounds by two equal
assessments on the Inhabitants of the said Parish to repair the Church
and Chappel of Ease therein, the Petition of the Rector and Vestry-
men and Church wardens of Coventry Parish in Somerset and
Worcester Counties praying a Sum of 250 Pounds Currency be
levyed for the Building a Chappie of Ease in the Said Parish and
also the sum of 140 Pounds Currency for Enlarging the Chappie
at Deviding Creek in the said Parish, the Petition of W.m & Mary
Clajon praying leave to sell the House and Lots of Gamiel Butler
in the City of Annapolis towards payment of his debts. Referred to
the Lower House & Sent by Stephen Bordley Esqr
Mess.rs Mackall & Waring attend with M.r John Hammond
Dorsey Member Elected for Baltimore County in order to see him
qualified who takes the Oaths to the Government appointed to be
taken by Act of Assembly repeats and Subscribes the Abjuration &

Test & then withdraw
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning ten of the Clock
