Ordered, That Mr. Green do Print Copies of the Assessment Bill,
one for the Governor for the Time being, one for each Member of
the Upper House, one for each Member of the Lower House, and
one for the Clerk of each County, together with the several Messages
relative thereto.
The Address to the King's most Excellent Majesty, was Read the
second Time, and Approved, and Ordered to be Ingrossed.
A Bill, entituled, An Act to impower Mary Stansbury, Widow
and Administratrix, with the Will annexed, of Tobias Stansbury,
late of Baltimore County, to sell the Lands therein mentioned, for
the Payment of the Debts of the said Tobias Stansbury ;

A Bill, entituled, An Act to establish a Market, at the Market-
House in Chester-Town, in Kent County, and for the Regulation
of the said Market;
A Bill, entituled, An Act for the better securing the Duty of One
Shilling and Three Pence per Hogshead of Tobacco, imposed by
an Act for emitting and making Current £90,000 Current Money
of Maryland, in Bills of Credit, and all other Monies by the Naval
Officers belonging to the Public;

Were severally Read the second Time, and will Pass; and were
sent to the Upper House by Mr. Gantt and Mr. Deye.
The Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Anne-Arundel County, was
Read the second Time; and the Question was put, That the Con-
sideration of the Subject-matter contained in the said Petition, be
referred to the Consideration of the next Session of Assembly.
Resolved in the Affirmative.
