An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act to enable James Hollyday,
legal Representative of James Hollyday, Esq; deceased, late Trea-
surer of the Eastern Shore, to draw Bills for the Money therein
mentioned ;
An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act to impower the Justices of
Somerset and Worcester Counties to levy on the taxable Inhabitants
of Coventry Parish, partly in Somerset and Worcester Counties, the
Quantity of 62,400 Ibs. of Tobacco, for the Uses therein mentioned.
An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled,
An Act for Repairing the public Roads in this Province, and the
Supplementary Act thereto.

An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled,
An Act for the more efficient destroying Crows and Squirrels in the
Counties of Kent, Queen-Anne's and Talbot, and for destroying Red
Foxes in the said Counties ;
An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled,
An Act for the Relief of such Persons as cannot find Surety for their
Appearance, to testify as a Witness against any Person arrested,
accused, or prosecuted, for any Criminal Matter ;
An Ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act for Erecting a Public Ware-
house at Vienna-Town, in Dorchester County;
Were severally thus Indorsed, By the Lower House of Assembly,
Read and Assented to; and were sent to the Upper House by Mr.
John Goldsborough and Mr. Edmondson.
Mr. James Tilghman brings in and delivers to Mr. Speaker, an
Address, to be transmitted to the King's Most Excellent Majesty;
which was Read the first Time, and Ordered to lie on the Table.
On Motion, the Question was put, That Three Hundred able-
bodied Men, be levied, paid and cloathed, for his Majesty's Service,
agreeable to his Majesty's Requisition, signified by the Secretary of
State's Letter, and also that Eighty-four Men be raised and levied,
for Recruiting his Majesty's Regiments under the Command of his
Excellency Sir Jeffery Amherst, his Majesty's General, agreeable to
his Majesty's Requisition, signified by the said General's Letter, and
that the following Sums of Money be applied to defray the Expence
thereof, to wit,
The Sum of Two Thousand One Hundred and
Twenty-one Pounds, which now remains in the
Loan Office, Part of the Sum of Money appro-
priated for Scalps and Prisoners by the Act for
granting a Supply of Forty Thousand Pounds for
his Majesty's Service, ........................
