His Excellency is pleased to Communicate to this House his
Answer to their Address which follows in these words
Gentlemen of the Upper House of Assembly

The Terms in which you have expressed yourselves in your
Obliging Address for which I return you Thanks manifest your
Loyalty Attchment and Gratitude to our most gracious Sovereign
and I am confident you will by your proceedings on this and every
Occasion endeavour to promote his Service and to recommend this
Province to His Royal favour

An Engrossed Bill from the Lower House by Mess.rs Tilghman
and Hall Entituled an Act for the Adjournment & Continuance of
Prince Georges and Queen Anns County Courts thus Subscribed
By the Lower House of Assembly 22th March 1762
Read and assented to
Signed p Order John A Thomas Cl. Lo. Ho.

Read and assented to by this House & ordered to be so Subscribed
the paper Bill so endorsed is sent to the Lower House by Stephen
Bordley Esqr
Benedict Calvert & John Ridout Esq.rs are sent to the the Lower
House to acquaint the Speaker that His Excellency requires his and
the Lower Houses attendance immediately in the Upper House

The Lower attend and by their Speaker presents to His Ex-
cellency the Bill Entituled An Act for the Adjournment & Continu-
ance of Prince Georges & Queen Anns County Courts which his
Excellency passed into a Law in the usual manner
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning ten of the Clock
