On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill for Trial of all
Matters of Fact in the several Counties where they have arisen,
or shall arise: Ordered, That Mr. Edward Tilghman, Mr. Ringgold, Mr. Charles
Goldsborough, Mr. John Hall, and Mr. Hollyday, do prepare and
bring in the same.
On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill for Processioning
Lands: Ordered, That Mr. Edward Tilghman, Mr. Ringgold, Mr. Mur-
dock, Mr. Johnson, Mr. John Hall, Mr. Hayward, and Mr. Allen,
do prepare and bring in the same.

A bill, entituled, An Act to impower the Justices of Somerset and
Worcester Counties to levy on the taxable Inhabitants of Coventry
Parish, partly in Somerset and Worcester Counties, the Quantity
of 62,400 lbs. of Tobacco, for the Uses therein mentioned, was
Read the first Time, and Ordered to lie on the Table.
On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill for issuing Writs
of Replevin out of the County Courts:

Ordered, That Mr. Ringgold, Mr. Hammond, and Mr. Beall, do
prepare and bring in the same.
On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill, entituled, An
additional supplementary Act to the Act, entituled, An Act for
Enrolling Conveyances, and securing the Estates of Purchasers:

Ordered, That Mr. Ringgold, Mr. John Goldsborough, Mr. Robert
Lloyd, Mr. Hammond, and Mr. John Hall to prepare and bring in
the same.

On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill to oblige the Clerks
who write in the Public Offices to take the several Oaths to the
Government required by Law:

Ordered, That Mr. Edward Tilghman, Mr. Beall, and Mr. John-
son, do prepare and bring in the same.
