      Thus Endorsed on the Backe side of this Deede (vizt)   Liber JJ
      Memd That full & peceable possession & Seizin was given & Deliv-
      ered by the within named John Nutthall of Tract of land within
      menconed unto James Nutthall his heires & Assignes Accordinge to
      the true Intent & Meaninge of this Indenture in prsence of us whose
      names are heereunto Subscribed this Tenth day of Aprill 1670

        The Deede above menconed was by the above named John Nutt-
      hail Acknowledged in Open Cort to be to the use of the above named
      James Nutthail his heires & Ass ignes for Ever the day & yeare above 8 sds
      menconed.          Tho: Cakewood Clef Cur Provinciats

        Know all Men by these prsents That I Edward Dorsey of the [p. 133]
      County of Ann Arundell in the Province of Maryland Planter Have
      Assigned Ordained & made And in my steade & Place by these prsents
      putt & Constituted my Truely & we!beloved Friende Capt Thomas
      Stockett of the County abovesaid in the Province of Maryland Highe
      Sherriffe To be my True & Law full Attorney for me & in my name
      & to my use To Acknowledge a Bill of Sale of Three Hundred Acres
      of Lande sould by me unto Capt Thomas Manninge of Caivert
      County The wch Bill of Sale my said Attorny to Acknowledge to be
      my Act & Deede unto the said Manninge or his Lawfull Attorney
      the next Provinciall Cort I Givinge & Grantinge unto my said Attor-
      ney my whole power & Strength and Authority in & about the prmisses
      to all Intents Construccons & purposes As I myselfe might or could
      Doe if I weere there in my owne person prsent Ratefyinge Allowinge
      & holdinge firme & stable All & wtsoever my said Attorney shall doe
      or Cause to be done in or about the Execucon of the prmisses by
      vertue of these prsents, In Witnes whereof I have hereunto Sett my
      hande & Seale This Thirtieth day of Novembr Anno D. One Thou-
