Mr. Edmondson, Mr. Bowman, Mr. Govane and Mr. Key, ap-
peared in the House.
An ingrossed Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled,
An Act for the Relief of such Persons as cannot find Surety for
their Appearance, to testify as a Witness against any Person ar-
rested, accused, or prosecuted, for any Criminal Matter; was Read
and Assented to.
The House adjourns till 2 of the Clock.
Post-Meridiem. The House met according to Adjournment, &c.
Mr. J. J. Mackall, Mr. Gantt, Mr. Plater and Col. Fitzhugh, ap-
peared in the House.
On Reading the second Time the Bill, entituled, An Act for Trial
of all Matters of Fact, in the several Counties where they have
arisen or shall arise.
The Question was put, That the said Bill do pass. Resolved in
the Affirmative.
