On Reading the Petition of James Hollyday a second Time; Or-
dered, That Mr. Hanson, Mr. Charles Goldsborough, and Mr. Hyn-
son, be a Committee to enquire into the Facts set forth in the said
Petition.

John Ridout, Esq; from the Upper House, delivers to Mr. Speaker,
the Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Dorchester County, for
Erecting a Warehouse in Vienna Town on Nanticoke River [thus
Indorsed, By the Upper House of Assembly, April 21st, 1761. Read
and Referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly.

Also a Petition from the Inspectors at Elk-Ridge Landing, [thus

Which were severally Read, and Ordered to lie on the Table.

On Reading the Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Dorchester
County a second Time; Ordered, That Mr. Charles Goldsborough,
Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Sulivane, do bring in a Bill for the Purposes
mentioned in the said Petition.

Mr. Gale hath Leave of Absence.
Mr. Hanson brings in the following Report.

By the Committee appointed to enquire into the Truth of the
Facts set forth in the Petition of Mr. James Hollyday.

Your Committee, in Obedience to the Directions of the House,
have examined into the several Facts set forth in the said Petition,
and find the same to be true.

All which is humbly submitted to the Consideration of the Hon-
ourable House.
