By the Lower House of Assembly 14th April 1761
May it please your Honours
This House hath appointed Mr Dulany Mr Worthington, Mr Han-
son Mr Stoddart Mr Bell & Mr Ringold a Committee from this
house to inspect the Accounts and Proceedings of the Commissioners
or Trustees for emitting Bills of Credit established by Act of As-
sembly and desire Your Honours to appoint One or more of the
Members of Your House to join in the said Committee

Messrs Tilghman and King attend with Mr Hopper, John Scar-
burgh and George Fraser to see them qualified, who take the several
Oaths to the Government required by Law repeats and subscribes
the Abjuration and Test and then withdrew
Messrs Hanson & Stoddert attend with Mr Smalwood a Member
elected for Charles County to see him Qualified who takes the several
Oaths to the Government required by Law repeats and Subscribe the
Abjuration and Then withdrew
Read the Petition of Wm & Mary Clajon referred to the Lower
House and Sent by Daniel Dulany Esqr

Adjourned till 3 of the Clock in the afternoon
