Thursday, 2 November, 1758.

The House met according to Adjournment; The Members were
called, and all appeared as Yesterday. The Proceedings of Yesterday,
were Read.
Mr. Gassaway appeared in the House.
The Order of the Day being Read; the House proceeded to a
further Hearing on the Petition of Henry Woodward.
On Hearing the Arguments of the Council at the Bar, and after
their withdrawing according to Order, and on Motion of a Member,
the Question was put, Whether the Aldermen of the City of An-
napolis have a Right, by the Charter of the said City, to Vote in the
Election of Delegates for the said City, or Not? Resolved in the
Negative.

The House Referred the further Hearing of the Petition of Henry
Woodward till the Afternoon.

Ordered, That the Petition of Henry Woodward be heard at the
Bar of this House at Two of the Clock Afternoon.

The House adjourns till 2 of the Clock.

Post-Meridiem. The House met according to Adjournment, &c.

The Order of the Day being Read; the House proceeded to a
further Hearing on the Petition of Henry Woodward, and Referred
the same for a further Hearing on the Morrow Morning.

Ordered, That the Petition of Henry Woodward be further
heard at the Bar of this House on the Morrow Morning at Nine of
the Clock.

The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock.
