On Reading the second Time the Bill, entituled, An Act for Reduc-
ing the Allowances of the Members of the Upper and Lower Houses
of Assembly, &c. the Question was put, Whether the Allowance to
each Delegate or Burgess, for each Day he shall serve and attend
(besides the usual Allowance for itinerant Charges) be 80 lbs. of
Tobacco, or less? Resolved, That the Allowance be 80 lbs. of
Tobacco.
