In Pursuance of the aforegoing Resolution, the said Bill was
Indorsed, "Read the second Time by an especial Order, and will
Pass ;" and was sent to the Upper House by Colonel Tilghman, and
Five more. They return and acquaint Mr. Speaker, They carried
up the said Bill to the Upper House, and as the Council Doors were
shut, they brought back the said Bill, and delivered it to Mr. Speaker.
On Motion, Leave given, to bring in a Bill for issuing Writes of
Replevin out of the County Courts ;
Ordered, That Colonel Tilghman, Mr. Edward Dorsey, Mr.
Williamson, and Mr. Carroll, do prepare and bring in a Bill ac-
cordingly.
Mr. Edmondson, Mr. Bowman, Mr. John Goldsborough, Mr.
Sulivane, Mr. Gresham, Mr. Hammond, and Mr. Gassaway, have
Leave of Absence.
Mr. Hanson, Colonel Tilghman, Mr. King, Mr. Govane, Mr.
Crabb, Mr. Benjamin Mackall, and Mr. Owings, have Leave of
Absence till Tuesday next.
On Motion, Leave given, to bring in a Bill for Raising a Sum of
Sterling Money for the Support of an Agent in Great-Britain :
Ordered, That Colonel Tilghman, Mr. Hammond, Mr. Dorsey,
Mr. Carroll, and Mr. Williamson, do prepare and bring in a Bill
accordingly.
The House adjourns till Monday Morning at 8 of the Clock.
