Resolved, That the Sum of £60,000 be granted for his Majesty's
Service, and the Defence and Protection of the Inhabitants of this
Province.

On Motion, the Question was put, That the Sum of £60,000 be
raised for his Majesty's Service, and the Defence and Protection
of the Inhabitants of this Province, by an equal Assessment on all
Estates, Real and Personal, and Lucrative Offices and Employments.
Resolved in the Affirmative.
