In pursuance of the Resolution of the aforegoing Question, Re-
solved, That this House, by a Bill sent to the Upper House, have
done every Thing incumbent on them towards making a proper
Provision for such of his Majesty's Regular Forces as they appre-
hend will be continued in Winter Quarters in the said City; There-
fore Resolved, That the said Petition be Rejected.
On Motion, the Question was put, Whether Leave be given to
bring in a Bill to apply the Sum of £2000 part of the Money now
in the Loan Office appropriated for the Payment for Scalps and
Prisoners, and to be applied by the said Bill towards Quartering such
of his Majesty's Regular Forces as are now, or may be expected
this Winter in this Province, for Quarters, or Not ? Resolved in the
Negative.
