May it please your Honors
Your Message of the 15.th Instant by Benedict Calvert Esq.
containing an offer of Alterations to the Amendments by us pro-
posed to the Bill for reducing the Allowances of the Members of the
Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly sent down with that Bill is
so unparliamentary so contrary to every established Method of pro-
ceeding on Bills, that we don't think it right to take it into Con-
sideration, and therefore have herewith again returned you that Bill
