Present as Yesterday
Mess.rs Plater and Southeron from the Lower House attend with
M.r Edmund Key a Member elected for S.t Mary's County to see him
qualified who takes the Oaths to the Government appointed to be
taken by Act of Assembly, repeats, and subscribes the Abjuration
and Test and then withdraws

Adjourned 'till three of the Clock in the Afternoon

This House met again according to Adjournm :'

Read the first Time the Bill prepared in this House, intitled, An
Act for reducing the Allowances of the Members of the Upper and
Lower Houses of Assembly and ordered to lye on the Table
Adjourned 'till Monday Morning ten of the Clock.

might be made for such of his Majesty's Forces as should be sent
to the said City for Winter Quarters, referred to the Consideration
of the Lower House and sent by Col : Tasker
Adjourned 'till three of the Clock in the Afternoon
