On Motion, That an Address be prepared to his Excellency, de-
siring he would inform this House by what Power the present
Embargo is laid on all Vessels in this Province, and to know by
what Indulgence a Sloop was lately permitted to depart from Balti-
more-Town, since the said Embargo; the Question was put, Whether
any such Address shall be prepared this Session, or Not ? Resolved
in the Negative.

Col. Henry brings in and delivers to Mr. Speaker, an Ingrossed
Address; which was Read and Assented to, and Signed, by Order of
the House, by the Honourable Speaker.

Ordered, That Capt. Jenifer and Mr. Reeder do acquaint his Ex-
cellency, That this House hath prepared an Address, to be presented
to him, and desires to know when and where he will please to re-
ceive it: They return and acquaint Mr. Speaker, That the Governor
was pleased to signify, he would receive the Address immediately at
his House.

Ordered, That Mr. Bracco and Mr. Ward do present the Address
to the Governor.

His Excellency communicated to Mr. Speaker, the following Mes-
sage, viz.t

Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly,

In Answer to the first Part of the Address, which you presented
to me Thursday last, together with an Extract from the Report of
