          Kent County Court Proceedings, 1656-1662.  87

   Them: Nay saith mr south I would Desier ye to let me haue Them Liber B
   A lettell whille longer for I haue som ocation to vsse Them And
   They shall be redy when soe ever you shall send for Them And
   Mr South did alsoe Aske mr South for an Addes That was hunts
   for he would by it And mr Marsh Answerd Againe That he would
   not sell it for he would keep it for the vsse of his freinds :/

     Mr Tho: South sworne saith
     That yor Deponant som 4 yeares since or There Abouts did sell
   Mr Marsh A payer of stilliards for 300 lb of Tob And A payer of
   small stilliards which he hath now in his Possetion/
                                     Tho: South

     Whereas mr Elleoyet hath Arested mr south in Action of Debt
   Dew by bill for Two hundred lb Tobacco And Caske: which is
   Acknowledgd: by The sd mr south: wherefore The Court hath
   orderd prsent payment with Court Chargis elc Execution

     Mr Hinson hath made Appeare Dew to him Nienty Two lb of
   Tobacco & Caske from the estat of mr Nic Browne Deseased which
   the Court hath orderd prsent payment And there Apeares likewise
   Dew to mr south seventy lb Chargis

     Whereas Mr seath faster hath Pettitioned The Court Agst The
   estat of John Squibb laet Deseased on This Island And hath proued
   by his owen Oath That The sd John squibb standeth indebted to
   him vpon bill And Account Two And Twenty hundred lb Tobacco
   & Caske And The Acct within Mounths: Wherefore The Court
   hath orderd That The sd mr faster by vertue heareof may haue
   Admenestration as The greatest Credetr

     Whereas John Ereckson hath Confest A Judgmt in open Count
   That he stands indebted to The Capt William fuller The som of
   Three hundred And Twenty lb Tobacco of The Choyest & Caske
   Dew by Bill: wherefore The Court hath orderd prsent paymt with
   Charg elc Execut

     A referenc is granted vnto Roger Baxter in the behalfe of his
   wife by reson of her sicknes

     Ann Murell Aged 35 or There Abouts sworne saith
     That som Time The begining of Jenevary yor Deponant being
   at The house of Edw Copedg on the lords day where was Mary
   Baxter And she Towld The woman of The house That she would
   giue her A Dram And Edw Copedgs wife sd That she should not
