     The marke of Edward Whaley, vizt, Cropt of the left ear and a Liber B No. 1
   poplar leafe   the right ear recorded this 17th January 1667

     The marke of Arthur Frame, vizt, Cropt of both ears holed of
   both ears & overhalfed of the right ear recorded this 25 January 1667

     The marke of Jinkin Morris, vizt Swallowe tayled of the right ear
   & underbitted the left ear Cropt recorded the l0th March 1667

     The marke of Edward Hazard, vizt, Swallowe taylid of both ears
   overbitted & underbitted of both ears & one hole in the right ear re
   corded the 15th June A° D° 1668

     Knowe All Men by these presents that I Edward Hazard of
   Manoakin in the pvince of Maryland haue given granted bargained
   & SoIld all my right title & Interest .of my Marke of Cattle & Hoggs
   entered upon record folio Six marke the tenth in the Said Folio in
   forme following; The Marke of Edward Hazard Swallow forkt of
   both ears underhalfd & upperhalfd of both ears recorded the 7th June
   AD D° 1666 And Doe by these presents giue grante bargaine allienate
   & sell unto William Futcher of the province aforesaid plantor & to
   his heires for ever In testimony whereof I the Said Edward Hazard
   Doe hereunto sett my hand & scale this 25th day of June A° D° 1668

     The marke of John Sterling vizt Cropt of the left ear & one slitt
   in the Same ear; the right ear Cropt & one whole in the same ear with
   two nicks the upper side of the Same & one nick under recorded the
   13th day of November A° D° 1668

     Knowe all men by these prsents that I Joseph Hewes of manoakin
   in the Countie of Somersett haue given granted bargained & solid
   unto George Carter of the place & Countie aforesaid all my right title
   & Interest of my Marke of Cattle & Hoggs entered upon record, folio
   (4)  marke the Thirteenth in the Said folio in forme following; The
   marke of Joseph Huse, vizt Cropt in the left ear & a hole in the Said
   ear & A hole in the night ear recorded the 14th May 1666. In testi
   money whereof I Doe hereunto put my hand this 27th January A° D°
   1668/9
     The marke of Thomas Davis Carpenter vizt one slitt of the left ear [p. 13]

   recorded the 22d of Febr 1668

     Edward Luns marke vizt Cropt of both ears underhalfd & upper
   halfd of both ears both ears being alike marked recorded the 22th of
   Febt 1668/9

     Randall Minshall his marke, vizt, Cropt of the right ear & under
   bitted of both & slitt of the left ear recorded the 24th of Aprill A° D°
   1669
