to a marked oake standing in the woodes dew east to the first bounder
from the river foure hundred & eighty perches; Containing by esti
macon foure hundred acres More or Lesse of that parcell of Land
Soe to me granted as aforesaid with all rights proffitts priviliges Com
modities & heriditamts to the Same belonging or in any wise apper
taming To have and to hoild the said parcell of Land with all & every
the appurtenances to him the Said James Weeden his heires executrs
admrs or assignes for ever to the onely use & behoofe of him the Said
James Weeden his heires executrs admrs or assignes for ever to be
holden of the Lord Proprietor for & under the rents & services by the
Sd originall pattent reserved; And the Said William Stevens & Eliza
beth his wife the Said parcell of Land with the appurtenances before
by these presents bargained & sold unto him the Said James Weeden
doe f or ever freely acquitt & Discharge the same of & from all & a!!
manner of former or other bargaines grantes Sales, forfeitures, [p. 125]
Joyntures, Dowries, Surrenders, And of & from all other titles incum
brances Claimes & Demands whatsoever of us or either of us our or
either of our heires executrs admrs or assignes And against all &
every other person or persons whatsoever Claiming from by or under
the Said William Stevens or Elizabeth his wife shall & will for ever
hereafter warrant & Defend by these prsents In Wittnes whereof the
Said William Stevens & Elizabeth his wife doe hereunto set their
hands & seales this three & twenteth day of September A° D° one
