         Liber B No.   1 Whereas John Rhodes peticioned the Court that John Waerum a
               decreepit Lad was brought to his house by Thomas Davis having bin
               at chardges & troble with him desired satisfaccon; The Court or
               dereth that mr Rhodes be paid foure hundred pounds of tobacco &
               Robert Hart is ordered to be pd six hundred pounds of tobacco; the
               said Robert Hart takeing whome the Lad with him & to saue the
               Countie harmiesse from any further charge & upon the Cure being
               made perfect the sd Jn° Waerum is to serue the said Robert Hart
               the full tearme of three yeares in such service as the said Rot5t Hart
               shall imploy him in
           [p. 92]     At A Courte helid for the Countie of Somersett this 26th day of
                  November A° D° 1667 Comrs present vizt;
                      Mr William Stevens   mr John Winder
                      Capta William Thorne mr Henry Boston
                      mr James Jonesmr George Johnson

                 ‘Whereas there is a Cause Depending in this Courte betweene Wil
               liam Canneday plt & Richard Whitte deft aboute a servant Maid
               named Anne Fisher; wth the Deft solid to the plantiffe the plt Com
               plaining she had not served her time according to bargaine made
               therefore desireth satissfaccon
                 William Canneday plt
                 Richard Whitte deft jthey appeare now in Courte
                 After some debate the plantiffe Craues A Jury
                 Ordered that A Jury be impannelled in the Cause depending
                 The Jury is returned by the Sherriffe & Sworne vizt
