the first marked tree three hundred & twenty peerches Contayning & Liber B No. 1
layd out for three hundred acres more or lesse Together with all
woods & underwoods timber & timber Like trees Meadowes pastors
feedings with all rights proffitts & bennefitts thereunto belonging To
haue and to houlld the said parcell of Land & all & singuler other
the prmises hereby mencioned to bee bargained & soulld & every of
them with their & every of their appurtenances & the reversions &
the remainders of them & every of them to the said Macurn Thomas
his heires executrs admrs & assignes And to the onely proper use of
the said Macurn Thomas his heires executrs admrs & assignes for
ever; without any Morgage Condiëon redempcon use or Limita
con The same to be holden of the cheife Lord or Lords of the ofee
or Fee whereof the prmises haue bin holden by the rents & services
therefore due & of right accustomed; And the said Jinkin Price &
Mathewe his wife for themselues their heires executrs & admrs doth
Covenant to & with the said Macurn Thomas his heires & assignes
that they their heires & assignes shall & will at all times hereafter
upon the request & at the charges of the said Macurn Thomas his
heires or assignes shewe or cause to be shewne forth in any Court
of Lawe or equity or other place necessary all evidences wch he or
they shall haue in their hands or may lawefully come by without [p.61]
sute of Lawe concerning the said bargained prmisses or any parte
thereof for Maintenance of his estate hereby rnencioned to be as
sured unto him & his heires, & shall & will prnitt & suffer the same
to rernayne in such Courte or place soe long as shall bee necessary
in such behalfe In Wittnes whereof the parties aboue mencioned
haue hereunto set their hands & scales this twenty six day of March
in the yeare of our Lor one thousand six hundred sixty & seaven

Acknoweledged at A Court held for the Countie of Sommersett in the
Province of Maryland the daye & yeare aboue written, teste;

Knowe All men by these presents that I James Jolley of Acco
macke Countie in Virga doe stand & am firmely bound in & oblidged
to German Gillet of the Countie aforesaid in the summe of tenne
thousand pounds of good marchantable tobacco & Caske to be paid
to the said German Gillet or his true & Lawefull attourney executrs or
admrs to the wch payement well faithfully & truly to be made I doe
binde me my heires executrs & admrs firrnely by these prsents signed
with my hand & sealed with my scale Dated the twenty six daye of
March in the yeare of or Lord one thousand six hundred sixty &
seaven
