656 Somerset County Court Proceedings, 1665 1668. Liber B No.1 Whereas Randall Revell prferred a peticon against Henry Lewis for one thousand twenty three pounds of tobacco due to him upon accompt the defendt Henry Lewis acknowledged the Debt where upon the Court doth order the said Henry Lewis to pay unto Randall Revell one thousand twenty three pounds of tobacco with Cost of sute otherwise execucon At A Court held the 29th January 1666 for the Countie of Sommerset in the province of Maryland Present Mr William Stevens Capt William Thorne mr Henry Boston mr John Windermr George Johnson This day Marke Manloue (aged 1 6 yeares next Aprill) sonne of Marke Manloue deseased) Chuseth his Brother Jn° Manloue for his guardian wth was approved of by the Court [p.. 50] At A Court held the 29th January 1666 for the Countie of Sommerset in the province of Maryland Present Mr William Stevens Capt: William Thorne mr Henry Boston mr John Windermr George Johnson Whereas Henry Boston prf erred a peticon against Charles Ballard the husband of Sarah Elzey relict & administratrix of John Elzey that there was due to him upon bill the sume of foure hundred pounds of tobacco & Caske from John Elzey the plantiffe Not proveing the bill the Defendt Craved a nonsute whereupon A nonsute was granted by the Court At A Court held the 29th January 1666 for the Countie of Sommersett in the province of Maryland Present Mr William Stevens Capt William Thorne mr Henry Boston mr John Winder mT George Johnson Whereas John Cooper preferred a peticon against John Griffith wherein he Complained tht his servt Susanna Brayfeeld was gott with Child & tht she said itt was John Griffith the plantiffe not ap pearing Patrick Fleming attourney for the defendt Craved A Nonsute whereupon a nonsute was granted for non appearance |
