   Thomas Taylor Sworne In Open Courtt saith that he Bought
  a Hatt of Thomas Norris Before he was free from his master
  mr Jno Wells for one hundred Pounds of Tobacoe Butt Never
  Paid the Said Norris to this day Nor the said Norris Never De
  mainded pay to this Day And further saith Not

   The Plat Pleads that he may haue Judgmt In his Sute with Tho:
  Norris Being Soe Agreed Uppon the Last Courtt By the Defendt,
  the Deifendt Craues An Apeale Before Judgmt to the Justices of
  the Next Provinciall Courtt held for this Province the 19th Day of
  December Next the Courtt Answeareth that the haue Noe Rules for
  Apeales Before Judgmt for all Appeales are Aifter Judgmt the Defft
  Pleads that the Chancellor held the Last Provinciall Courtt that all
  apeales Ought to bee Before Judgmt

   The Courtt Proseeds to Judgmt
   Itt is the Judgmt of the Courtt is Gilty of the Breach of the
  Acte of Assembly Against Trading and Gameing with Sarvants
  Therefore the Courtt hath Ordred that Thomas Norris Make Pres
  ent Payment of Two Thousand Pounds of tobacoes the one half e to
  the Right Honble the Lord Propriatary the other halfe to Mr Jno
  Wells with Cost of Sute

   The Courtt hath Ordred that Mr Jno Edmondson Pay unto Will
  Gaskin flue hundred Pounds of Tobacoe unlest he produce Will
  Gaskins Note from Mr Ingram Admistr

   Will Hemsley is Ordred two Thousand one hundred & Sixty foure
  pounds of tobacoe out of the Estate of Jno Whaley Deceased
   Will Hemsley is Ordred Six hundred Seaventy flue pounds of
  tobacoe Out of the Estate of Jno Waley Deceased
   Will Hemsley is Ordred Nine hundred & Seaventy pounds of
  Tobacoe Out of the Estate of Jno Whaley Deceased
   Will: Hemsley is Ordered two thousand Six hundred pounds of
  Tobacoe Out of the Estate of Jno Whaley Deceased
   Wm: Hemsley is Ordred two thousand two hundred pounds of
  tobaco out of the Estate of Jno Whaly Deceased
