    Jno Richardson Came to this Courtt and Accknowledged Judgmen Liber BB
   unto Jno Dalby for foure hundre Pounds of tobacoe for making No.2
   Insection in his wifes wound for the jury to yew the Courtt hath
   ordred Present Payment with Cost of Sute

    Wheareas Jno Ingram Arested Wm: Dell to this Court and not
   Apeareing by himselfe or attorney the Courtt hath Ordred that
   William Dell haue a Non sute:

    To the Worshipll Comisscoñs for Talbott County Courtt [r. 147]
   Jno Wedge Plat
   Robert Mackling Deft
    The Flat Declares Against the Deift In An Accon of Traspass
   uppon Case Whereas by An Acte of Assembly it is Prouided that
   it Shall Not be Law full for Any pson to Kill Any Marked Cattle
   Resorting to his Plantacon yett Notwithstanding the Deift hath And
   did Sometime In Octobr Last Past Kill one Steare of flue yeares
   Ould Belonging to the Plat Against the forme of Prouisscon Afore
   Said And Contrary to the knowledg of the Plat for which Steare
   Soe Killed the Defft doth Refuse to Pay the Plat for the Same
   Where uppon he Saith that he is the Worse And hath Damage to the
   Vallue of Eight hundred Pounds of tobacoc & there uppon he
   Bringeth this Accon Against the Deffendt & Craues Judgment of
   this Courtt for his Just Damages Sustained with Cost of Sute &c

    Michell Miller Attorney for the deffendt Putts the the Flat to
   Proue his Declaracon the Flat Craues A Jury & that his Euedence
   May be Sworne: The Courtt hath Ordered that A Jury bee Sothoned
   & Impaneled In this Sute Now depending Betwixt jno Wedge Plat
   And Robert Mackling Defft

    Richard Jones Sworne In Open Courtt Saith
    That Sometime in Octobr Last Past yor depont Came to Mr Simond
   Carpenders house and he tould yor depont there was A Steare Killd
   for him at Robbertt Macklings which he Supossed to be his & he
   desiered yor depont to See the Mrke Whether that it was Not yor
   deponts & yor depont vewed the hide which was Crop and Slitt In
   one Eare & the other Eare had a Pice gon under the Eare Whether
   it was An under keele or noe yor depont Cannot Say: & yor depont
   tould Mr Carpender that it was not yor deponts And further Saith not
                                   Richard Jones

    George Deare Sworne in open Courtt         [p. 148]
    Saith that Jno Wedge had a Red Steere Runing at W Tilghmans
   Cow pen & at Mr Carpenders & yor depont Saw Such a Steare at
   Robertt Macklings and further Saith not George D Deare
